Unhappy Spark Plug removal for 2008

I would like to change my plugs in my 08 and, after removing the black dust cover (or whatever it's called), I am having a difficult time loosening the boots from the plug wires. Is there a special way to release the boot without damaging the wire? Please advise and thanks in advance!

you can just pull them off, and get a sparkplug socket if you dont already have one to get the plugs out

nope just yank it off with your hand, wiggle it around a little to loosen it up and then just pull, but for the plugs themselves is where you need the socket

when you put the wired/boots back on they just plug/snap in, easy

just make sure the gap is right, most plugs are pre-gaped anyways

you might needed to use some pliers to get them off as well, takes a bit of force

ONLINE/OFFLINE is just his online status. And you are talking about a 1.6 Aveo engine, right? It might be different on European/Asian smaller engines...
