Spark Plugs 2010 Chevy Aveo LT

Wondering if anyone has instructions on replacing the spark plugs on my 2010 Aveo? I have done spark plugs in the past but not seen an engine like this before and want to make sure I do it right.

Is the special tool mandatory? Where would I get one if so?

I have the older EtecII engine so i am not sure about the need for this tool but a google search found this explanation for you:

"KM-6009 is required to properly remove and install the ignition coil assembly. Two KM-6009 replacers are threaded into the ignition coil allowing for the safe separation of the ignition coil towers from the spark plugs. Attempts to service the ignition coil assembly without KM-6009 may result in component damage."

Here is one listed on ebay:

Ya, I was able to find that as well. I tried to find the exact engine I have but couldn't find where it was stamped? Apparently there. At least 2 variations? When i look at the spark plug location, it appears that there are just 2 star or torx type screws holding the I guess coil in place? I'm not sure that is the right term, I've never seen this before, it looks like a black plastic bar form filled with almost a wax type substance? I'll see if i can send a pic.

Attached are the engine pics, I'm having some trouble figuring out this forum interface so if I duplicate or do something wrong I apologize.
