FS: Aveo Kalos Wave Swift Under Drive Pulley

I will be selling under drive pullies for the 1.6L Daewoo engine starting in January.
My price will be $200 (USD) for the pulley, the required belt, and shipping to United States and Canada.
Start saving now because I will start producing these units in January 2007.
If you wish I will take deposits of at least 25% ($50 USD).
Send me a PM about sending me money for them or if you have any questions you do not want addressed here
Since the pullies will be made on individual basis production and shipping should take 3 weeks to a month to the United State, 4-6 weeks to Canada. Time could be extended because of shortages in aluminum supplies or busy-ness of the machiners. If shipping time will be extended I will let you know through PM, email, and/or phone call as soon as I know. Shipping will be done by either Fed Ex or USPS at a later date. I will post that when I decide

May i ask why they are so expensive? You may only get 5 hp gain.

That's to cover shipping, production costs of the pulley and the belt needed. Plus a little for me, I'll probably only be making $20 a unit when it's all said and done

Will this fit the Aveo engine? What impact will it have on the engine such as power steering?

It'll work with the 1.6 liter aveo engine. It shouldn't effect your power steering much, if at all

AN underdrive pulley, or lightened crank(shaft) pulley that actually produce additional torque and horsepower by reducing parasitic drag caused by belt-driven accessories, or by being lighter and reducing rotational mass, or both. So in a nut shell it frees up horsepower lost

yes this true, an under drive pulley slows down the alternator so you wont be producing as much juice, it wont be bad if you dont have a big stereo system

Yeah you should be ok. But like people running like 2 20s might have some problems (not limited to 2 20s, just an extreme example)

Even though it's on sale, it's still $50 for the deposit, but the remainder will the on sale price, provided i recieve the deposit before Feb. 1, 2007

OK, so how exactly does this work. Slow down the alternator, not having as much juice, so not producing enough power... Sounds as if i'd be paying to get an energy efficent car, lol...

Sounds interesting, and i'm sorta keen... So I got 2 days... I'll think about it.

Besides the stereo, what else could effect it ? And if someone DID have a high end stereo, what would be the result of the UnderDrive Pulley?

Will you ship to Australia, and how much?

Less power to the stereo, but you can also get a better alternator or get the existing one re-wired to give more juice.

A grounding kit would also help a bit.

I have heard of some people running systems with an UDP and not having it affect it at all. But since I dont have a system in the Aveo I dont know how it would react. It seems mostly older cars are affected negatively (but then again the Aveo is made of cheap parts)

And yes, 2 days left to at least leave a deposit to hold that $175 price

did you already install yours dan, its going to be hard to tell from you dynoing your car how much the pulley makes considering you have other stuff done...but anyways you guys dont have to wait for the dyno i believe this pulley has already been dynoed by 360dynamic

I'm going to dyno my car without the pulley, then with. So it wont be on a stock car unless someone volunteers to come here with a stock car before I do mine then i'd be willing to sell them a pulley (just the pulley) just for the cost of the dyno time (which is $55 for 3 pulls).

But i'd probably say 2-4whp would happen

Well believe me, once I get it dyno'd I'll have the results posted within 24 hours. And yes again if you have a stock (engine/performance) aveo and want the pulley for super cheap all you need to do is come down and dyno and you'll get the pulley
