bluebook isnt as reliable of numbers as you think, you need to look at edmunds, craigslist (multiple areas + locally) and then ebay (same as craigslist) and then go check out 1 or 2 dealers to see what they are selling for on their lots and what your trade in value is.
Takes a half a day or so depending on if you really need to visit dealers (i base it on knowledge). But it gives the the real sellable number. not the "value"
oh, and if you still owe 8300 on your aveo, why not just run it, and but another car as well? you've paid for that aveo 5-6x you might as well buy a "race" car and then put all the extra money into the aveo to get rid of your payment.
i think we've had this conversation every year in early spring.
(on another note, dont buy a pt cruiser its not what you are looking for and it is a black hole as far as value)
I would buy a second car but can not, idk what I will do aveo wise, there are not many options used car wise in my price range (11000-13000) sure there are audi tt's and slk 230's, but I do not want to get stuck fixing expensive things. For now though, I just want to get rid of these parts and see what is for sale in the next 6-8 months.
If I can free up more money i will definitely be interested in some parts at those prices.

One thing I can do now or anytime local is a trade of my rims, looking for a stock set of aveo rim/tires, will trade my koings for the stock set and cash, will be on the new thread as well.

With rabbit's kit, you can use a set of mk2-mk3 coilvovers or others and can adjust them to any height that you please, he has a DIY or write-up on here somewhere, he knows a ton more about it than I do as he made them himself, so I would contact him.
