Well I am keeping my Aveo . Going to TRY and get this post deleted if possible. So gonna try to get rid of it, no reason to take up the space.

You have not given us your age, it matters.
I suggest its time to move on.
I'm 70 in a few months.
I recently sold my eight year old Aveo with only 9,184km on it! See my "Garage". I got $5,000 as trade-in/part exchange on a new Suzuki!

was yours a junk car on wheels? Rusted out and torn up inside,no A/C,manual?? Was it a '1' or a '10'?? Mine is like off the showroom floor 'new', a '9.5'. This is my last car. IF i sell it, I go back to an older motorcycle again, or Uber all over the place.
If you take the time to read the "Garage" post to the left, you will see the condition of the vehicle.
I think It's time you gave it away!
No age? We have serious medical hoops to jump thorough at 70 in my country.
The value of a car is all about supply and demand. Perth WA is a landing/distribution point for Korean cars, so here we have an over-supply. I have seen them that age on Facebook for nothing!

The price you get depends on the local market and what people are willing to pay. A $500 difference is negligible; Personally, I'd sell at $3,100 if I was asking for $3,600.
Just remember, your car retailed for around $10,000 14 years ago. If your getting legit offers at $3,100, thats pretty good. On the other hand, the KBB value on my 2004 Aveo with 60k miles is $900. However, in my local market, the cheapest youll find a running, model year 2000+, under 100kmi auto is around $1500-$2000.

Sorry I didnt know what the 'garage' thing was on the side of the post. Geez, so mad . I ask 1 simple question and you are so mad at me for asking it. forget it. Sorry to upset you. I'm, keep it anyway. Got my new headlights today in the mail, and turns out Uber/Lyft would cost 4 times as much to use, to live, as owning the Aveo. It is now just so completely 'fixed', it is just insurance and gas to keep.
Thank you for the reply. I am probably going to keep it. Unless I get better offers. I got (4) $2,700-3,100 offers so far in this first week of selling. So after figuring out the cost of using Uber/Lyft to go to work, and the little I need just for living. It would cost me 3-4 times as much than just keeping the Aveo. So unless the tranny falls out or the engine needs a $3K repair. I'm probably going to keep it. The Aveos on the roads I see here, all have dead paid, smoke coming out of the back tailpipe, hundered of thousands of miles, and they look their age. So...unless I decide to get the motorcycle I want, I'm probably going to keep it. But for comfort and ease of living, a car is better here. and my knees will probably hate a motorcycle
I found your "Garage" Page: https://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f118...e-entry-17375/ It needs an update or three.
What happened with the new headlights? For Sale, already!

Read https://www.craigslist.org/about/scams
If the cash offer involves receiving a check and then wiring ANY amount to ANYONE for ANY REASON, it's a scam.
Deal locally where you meet at their bank, even better if their bank is the same as yours, for transfer of funds.
