Just remember, your car retailed for around $10,000 14 years ago. If your getting legit offers at $3,100, thats pretty good. On the other hand, the KBB value on my 2004 Aveo with 60k miles is $900. However, in my local market, the cheapest youll find a running, model year 2000+, under 100kmi auto is around $1500-$2000.
Thank you for the reply. I am probably going to keep it. Unless I get better offers. I got (4) $2,700-3,100 offers so far in this first week of selling. So after figuring out the cost of using Uber/Lyft to go to work, and the little I need just for living. It would cost me 3-4 times as much than just keeping the Aveo. So unless the tranny falls out or the engine needs a $3K repair. I'm probably going to keep it. The Aveos on the roads I see here, all have dead paid, smoke coming out of the back tailpipe, hundered of thousands of miles, and they look their age. So...unless I decide to get the motorcycle I want, I'm probably going to keep it. But for comfort and ease of living, a car is better here. and my knees will probably hate a motorcycle
