i have my stock airbox with a k&n filter in it and i noticed a difference, but also at that same time i had just replaced my spark plugs with ngk iridiums.

well i know my plugs were shot after 80000 miles because the engine started to "break-up" under acceleration, and the air filter looked pretty clogged. so maybe i had just gotten used to that.

since we are on spark plugs now, is it true that after you get a cold air intake (or any upgraded intake of the sorts) and get spark plugs that are a degree colder your performance will increase
No, not for a CAI. If you install a turbo or a supercharger, then yes you need to go one or two steps colder to prevent detonation and knock retard from the ECU.Originally Posted by melficersx
