WTB: cat-less header

Hey everyone! If you have a used cat-less header that you have laying around and are willing to let it go for $150 - $200 please let me know. I would like to get xiaogary's header down the road but just don't have the funds right now.

If you have one of these or know someone / someplace that has them - please do tell me. If not - I will just have to wait until I get my next job.

EDIT: I am not looking for a cold air intake anymore since I just ordered ChromeIntakes CAI Aveo specific and I will use the K&N that I'm using with my stock piping right now for my home-made RAI.

Maybe I should sell you mine and trade my Aveo in for a Cobalt SS.


Anyone know how bad the insurance rates are on those?

EDIT: you don't wanna trade in a car without a cat.. if anything, they will reduce your trade-in amount because they'll have to install one. Plus they won't give you much more money for it with a cat-less header than without one.

Cant you just install the old manifold back in?

Yes he could. That's exactly my point. Or XJ could just spare himself the paint of putting it in and out and just sell it to me if he decides to trade in his Aveo... :D And then I'll let him drive mine before and after to let him see what change it actually makes. ;) What do you say XJCasper?

My son and I are ready to trade on an Evo. But my wife keeps out-ruling us. Guess I am stuck. Gonna put in the order for the body kit tomorrow.

Cool. I would too, but I had all the time in the world back then.. plus it was all DIY, so it was a whole lot of fun and even though it may not be as perfect as a body shop would've done it, but I can take all the credit. :D If I was still working 10-14 hr days - it would've been another story.

What style fenders did you go with? And what body kit style?

So I finally decided to get xiaogary's header, but he's nowhere to be found... I sent him a message through e-bay, PM'd him through here - nothing... Anyone know of any other ways to reach him? :?

Give him some timeanother everywhere inthe world is the Internet an everyday life. dId you try to pm him on aveonetwork, it notifies him via email. Which he might get more oftenthan actually checking the boards.

I did give him some time. It worked. :D he relisted the header and I already ordered it.
