will a 185/60/14 tire fit right on a these rims (factory calls for 185/65/14). also will these rims fit ok on an aveo, i thought someone ran this setup. If so im looking to buy 4 1996-2000 honda civic hx 14" 5 spoke oem rims. if anyone is in or around the NE ohio area and wants to sell please let me know, i would like to pick them up if at all possible to reduce shipping costs.

i have some pics of my car with hx alloys here http://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f85/h...94/index2.html
rabbit is right though. hub needs to be bored just a bit and i had to space out the fronts too to clear the caliper. i used a 15 mm spacer with some extended studs. part number for the stud is 641 - 1581 in case you wanna go the same route i did. i found them at NAPA though.

I bored mine out myself with a couple different sand paper grades. Takes some time but much cheaper and faster than finding and having a machine shop do it. I had my hubcentric spacers on hand so I would sand each wheel until the spaced fit then work on the next. I can't remember where I got my spacers from but I think it was around 140 for 4 wheel and hubcentric h&r spacers

you could also run vw, saturn, cobalt, many aftermarket, etc. wheels. that would not need bored out, and less likely to need spacers (this can happen with any rim bssed on aveo caliper design, other companies spoke designs.
