      WTB intake pipe

I'm interested in purchasing a nice, custom fit intake tube for a 2004 Aveo LS. I have a 3" diameter spectre cone filter on now so it must fit very well. I honestly just don't like the stock tube there now, and I would like it to be chrome, black or red to match the filter material.

of course I'm willing to work with the price a bit but I'm hoping for something between $30-$50.

If you have this item (or know where I can get one) Reply, or PM me for my cell phone number or other contact info that would better suit your needs.

Thank you and have a wonderful and magical day,
      Akilli

head to autozone, get a spectre universal intake kit, its $39.99 I believe, and you'll have to cut it a few inches short to fit(I used a dremel and I think I cut about 6 inches or less off), also its a 3in intake so you might want to get a reducer to get it to fit, I never got a reducer and it held fine...heres a link

      Re: WTB intake pipe

I tried that one from AutoZone and it didn't fit right. I would have had to have it cut and bent to fit in properly and thats more money I'd rather not spend. I was hoping someone might already have one done (used or new) and just wanting to make a few bucks off of it. I'll also look for that in the how-to section. thanks

Thank you though for the advice.

just borrow a sawz-all from a friend/nieghbor or whoever has one and cut it. then take a file and file the burs off. thats all ya gotta do. or look on ebay, theres a few there, but i dont know how good they are or if they even have a spot for the IAT sensor.

make sure you dont get the spectre plastic coated in chrome crap....that one in the link looks to have to small of angle bend, u would need a 45 degree bend like the bottom pipe in this picture

plus the 3" to 2.5" reducer which you is made by spectre and you can order online at summitracing.com.....now my pipe is from a cheap honda kit that I cut up. Now you would also need to drill a hole for the intake sensor and caulk it in

Or go to an exhaust shop and get them to bend you one in stainless and weld a tube to it. But that will be more expensive than the "Aveosam" option.
