      I think I'll just have it cut twice...

      about the sensors in the pipe, I managed to pull one out (not sure which one it was) but the other one didn't want to come out (it was the bottom one if that helps). any tips?

      There's only 1 sensor. It's the IAT on the passenger side of the tube. The vapor line is on the top.
      For the IAT, you have to remove a clip and unhook the harness. Then you can either a) cut the IAT out of the stock tube or b) buy a spare IAT for the new intake for ~$10.

      so it just won't unplug? I have to cut it and buy a new one?

      it will unplug, but the sensor itself is glued to the pipe. the only way to get it out is either cut the glue around it or get a new one.
