but wait... I've even seen them lose to a ... *GASP* STOCK SUZUKI SWIFT+
the fact is that the aveo has been piloted to overall wins against imprezza STis and mitsubishi lancer evolutions amongst other high horsepower 4wd vehicles in the CRC.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

Edited becuase nobody wants to hear me talk about how my GS500 could beat damn near anything that pulled up beside me at a red light-ESPECIALLY when its right in the middle of an Aveo vs. Evolution conversation...

any aveo that beats another car in a race deserves some damn respect. these cars aren't made to go fast- but don't underestimate what they can do. my sedan is peppy enough that it keeps me happy- and it gets attention everywhere i go. and it's POSITIVE attention.
