To start with one of the things about the car that I really liked was the 3yr/36000 mile maintenance plan where everything including wearable item are covered. Oil changes, brakes, tires and so on I was told by the VW service manager I talked to. Its rated at 115bhp which isnt bad, and seems much quicker than my auto Aveo. And NO! I'm not getting rid of my Aveo I still love it too much. It stays until it rusts and I sweep it out of my driveway. I havent chosen a color yet, I'm leaning towards white, and the red, possibly the blue as well. I laid out a deposit on it and am in the process of purchasing. I'll post pics when I get it. Anyway the 5spd manual was mucho fun to drive! I havent had a stick in 25 years! To compete with the Honda Civics and cars in the price range VW did have to take some technological and materials backwards 10 yrs, but you get all the upgraded nicer stuff in the Wolfsburg, TDI, and SEL versions. This is an entry level VW Jetta S base model that I'm purchasing for commuter purposes only.
