Hydraulic fluid sprayed all over car at Puyallup car wash | KING5.com Seattle
Not much I can say. The car wash owner's reaction is disappointing, though.

My dad said it best: "If I get in a wreck that's my fault, I can say that since I don't do body work, I don't have to pay for the damages/your repair bill, but I'll give you $100 and buy you a couple cups of coffee." That just doesn't work. I wonder if the guy lost customers over this. Sucks if he did, we just got over our own little snow storm the other day, and I'm sure many people need to give their cars a good wash (especially under the car itself), and they go to car wash places like that.
Thankfully for myself, I enjoy the labor of washing my car in the driveway. But I do understand those who go to car wash places. They just want a quick wash, or live in an apartment, so no driveway to use. You just have to hope that you don't run into problems like this.
I got my car detailed last year, and they scratched and tore my interior. the scratches were barely noticeable, but the interior was obvious. I calmly walked in, told them flat out this was not how it was when I turned it over to them, I want it fixed at their expense. That place actually did pay for the repair cost, and even did some cleaning that they had missed and I noticed a couple days after all of that. Will I take my car back there... NO.
that was simoniz car wash in dubuque, IA.

I will think of a better signature later.
My dad had a similar experience on the G8 when he had Maaco touch up the front bumper and hood. Around the bend on one of the hood scoops, it was rough and all textury. And they had it for a week, so when he saw it (which was AFTER he brought it home), he wasn't so happy. He took it back, they fixed it, and he decided that iif he needed paint work done again, he'd spend the extra money at a place that actually does a good job.
I guess it's a little too much to ask that since we take our cars to these people, that they could treat our cars just as good (maybe even better) as they would theirs. Well, I guess it's not like any of us own a car like a CCX and took it to the dealer, who decided to take it for a spin, only to wreck it into a guard rail and a Porche.
