you can get a flex pipe off ebay pretty cheap... you definately need it otherwise expect broken exhaust mounts or a fully broken exhaust.

If you want to replace that section with OEM then www.car-part.com

You should be able to get a universal flex pipe we sell them at my work and depending on the size they are not too expensive

i got hooked up with a flex pipe for cheapy :P

but as for the O2 sensor pipe...thats a different financial story. $160

i sucked it up and ordered it from GM since it is guaraneed to fit and since there are no aftermarket parts for my pretty.

      im starting to hate cars

oh and i forgot to ask how much the install would be. the part comes in in about 1-3 days so i will find out how much when i go get it. but im thinking it would be cheap if i do it myself.

It could have been worst......... it could have been your oil pan with a big gaping hole in it! think if you would have hit the oil pan and punched a hole in it........ then kept driving till you ran out of oil and then blew the motor. I'd rather the flex pipe then an oil pan. i bring this up cuz i was watching Ice Road Truckers and one dude did that to his rig. but his oil pan was made out of Fiber Glass. i drove truck and this was the first time i heard about anyone having an oil pan made from fiber glass. sorry to get off the subject but ya i would much rather a flex pipe to replace then an oil pan.
You did WHAT? to your Aveo? HAHAHAHAHA

i most deff agree with you, and i DID hit my oil pan but it was just a scuff mark compared the the pics up top. so i am extremely happy that i have to replace the flex pipe and O2 pipe rather than the oil pan.
