      Re: Drifting

The dudes got some confidence doing that with all those parked cars around.
Must be reasonably controllable. Must kill the rear brakes (he has to be doing that with the parking brake).

Real drifting is much more fun....but you need a rwd vehicle, with good torque.

Naw you dont have to worry about the rear brakes, it's called lunch trays under the rear tires with ebrake pulled all the way! So the only friction to worry about between the trays and the ashpalt, nothing that your brakes have to worry about. Now what he does have to worry about is his steering components breaking from the stress...

      Re: Drifting

Hey that was cool My Aveo was caught in a snowstorm this AM!

I had to drive near Oswego Ny. All was fine and dry, then my GPS took me down some rural road through the hills..

Holy **** at some points I was wondering if I should continue as it was struggling to climb some hills from slippage... heres some pics.. SHUCKS, wont let me upload them

thats a great example of drifting a new corvette but i'm not sure i'd risk $60000 or more. maybe i'm too tame.

people can be very dumb to think they can stop their cars in situations like that. it amazes me that none of those idiots, especially the girl in the road didnt get herself killed.
