He can't rant in someone else thread. He'll post his own four or five threads complaining later.
haters gonna hate
im really am not in the mood for ranting, quite the rarity, im glad you all enjoy it though
All I got to say is 3 car garages are awesome. So much so that my friends use my garage as a DIY repair shop. Oh yeah, and I got a full set of tools and an air compressor. I'm set.
Missing our beloved 1st gen Aveos everyday!
Silence is golden. Duct tape is silver!!
04 Aveo (mine gone but never forgotten)
07 Aveo 5 (wifes car gone but never forgotten)
02 Suburban (Eats gas stations as snacks)
12 Cruze Eco 6MT (46mpg daily? Holy crap!)
12 Sonic 2LT (Wifeys new wheels)
Chevoo-1/2 Chevy, 1/2 Daewoo. I mean like WTF?
I have probably more than $20,000 in tools over the past 3 years of school, but not one of these tools sit at my house. They're either at school, or at a shop I'm working for. Plus even if they were here, I have no place to put them or work on my car.... I need a new house

Or your own shopOriginally Posted by MatchboxKiller
I learned that the hard way on my last vehicle. I am aware that Higher output alts are available for the aveo, I just got spoiled on my 90 honda prelude with the option of using a 94 accord alternator. The alternator is on my list when The money comes in. I enjoy a quality sound system, and I know I will need the power to back one up. And a good grounding upgrade wich is actually on my list right now. I have an old kit from the prelude, that I never put in, and seeing as it's just wires and a metal plate, there is nothing to stop me from just throwing it in the aveo.Originally Posted by petrified.rabbit

I will think of a better signature later.
My own shop would be great, but I have to graduate first and get a business plan rolling

Im a bit spoiled myself. I got a drill pres, 2 grinders, all the necessary hand tools, 2 air compressors, impact tools, manuals, etc... Plus a full 2 car garage to work in. Downside: poor lighting and bad back. Upside: havent had to see a mechanic in a few years for any major repairs. Just for oil changes cus Im too lazy to do it myself and one other time for a check on my coolant sytem on my DSM that I had (turns out I was impatient but did it right).
I envy rabbit tho, for the monster machine he brought home a while ago.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
i don't even want to think about how much money in tools i have...
it cost as much as the monster machine to get the monster running.. had to rewire the from the street, update the house, and run about 200 ft of 00 cable..
