      I am DSM

I am officially DSM. Picked up Eagle Talon Tsi this morning. Its got a couple of mechanical issues like it needs a tune because somebody threw 550cc injectors in it without tuning for it. Also needs the belt for the power steering pump as someone changed it out to not include the p. steering and that thing is a bitch to try n turn if you are not going over 5 mph lolz. few lil dings on body, nothing major, will have pics soon. And no, its not the AWD, only FWD

I am very sorry. You are in for alot of headaches and late nights working on that car. There is a reason people make fun of DMS reliability. On the plus side, you will learn to become a decent mechanic. pics?

can i ask how much you paid? i dont think they are bad for the awd version.. fun beater, but i wouldn't get "too" big with one.

gonna take the crank for a walk?

      Re: I am DSM

I stopped screwing with DSM's 5 years ago. Even when they do run proper. You want MORE MORE MORE. Back in 2003 what I had my last VR4 I spent more on 100 octane fuel to run the car( per month than I spent on my Supercharged TRD Tundra PAYMENT.

My last VR4 was damn reliable, never broke(unless I was stupid with it) started first crank EVERY time. AC, sunroof, leather AWD...GAWD I MISS IT!!
A Frank 4 turbo 750cc injectors 2x255 pumps & Sunoco 260GT fuel on a daily driver street drivin car....It was FUN but damn was it expensive.
I could never NEVER own another DSM. Not because of reliability issues. But the fact that I could NEVER leave it alone.

Congrats on your purchase & DO NOT be stupid with it & it will last a long time. If you are stupid with it....SELL IT. You will drain you bank account FAST.

Edit.. hows it run with the BOV venting.

Oh yeah, my wife says..Good luck & god help you...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

      Congratulations. Sharp looking.

We had an Eagle Premier years ago. Loved the car, she looked nice, but had serious issues, mostly electrical, which is what I heard was the reason they stopped making them.
