      jealousy, come join me

i saw this about 5 min ago. and i got sad, and angry, and most of all envious.[attachment=0:sf6zkdqe]twins.jpg[/attachment:sf6zkdqe]
<i refer to the double intake of course>

i would love to find out how to fit this in our space-lacking engine bay.
and then hook up a GOAT...

maybe we have to stack them in the spot where the filter box went, and what is most needed is a double intake tube.
how the eff would i find one??

yeah that double intake is pretty useless unless it's running down to twin turbos, lol. Double intake are only good for cars with 2 turbos or that have to seperate intake sides on the engine, like the Subaru SVX (H6 type engine)

it would only be usefull if there was a cut out that could switch between paths for maximum performance....

I was thinkin about tryin dual intakes but one, ur gonna lose performance on an aveo cus u would lose air velocity in the intake(i think). and even if you could do it, the throttle body is only so wide and u need to be able to use more fuel to gain anything from the extra air coming in and that will result in a loss of mileage. and i dunno about the rest of you guys but mileage is getting more important to me ever since gas went over 4$/gal here.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

You are thinking of 2 diff paths for an intake manifold, not an actual intake.

it does the same thing....change the total intake length.
