yeah, you know how vulnerable you are, and you are more aware of all your space margins. i just suggest a good training school even if you're self taught or have been riding for years.

I agree! A good school will teach you some very important riding skills and a very good school will take you out and make you practice them. I prefer the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Courses. Very Informative and interactive.Originally Posted by thejibbler

are they all supposed to be motorcycles? or did it just happen that way?
I love the little saying on the first one.
"0 to owned in 0.2 seconds"
that part is great, not the wreck.

well, i highly reccommend this local riding course through the Comox Valley Driving School. but thats really only good if you live on Vancouver Island. but they are good. they have there own 250's and take you on road rides where they hook a radio up to you so they can tell you what you could be doing better. but like i said, even those who have been riding for years can learn.Originally Posted by gonzokidd

With the course I went to they put us on 250's as well, and we rode on a big parking-lot where they set up cones and 2x4's to run over and what not. It was actually pretty fun, but you really do learn alot and its worth it becuase you don't just leave what you learned there. they tell you things like: "Look where you want to go"
and stuff. Its fun!

If you have a decent enduro or high displacement dirtbike and can make it out to Salem Missouri, the 100 acre wood rally has a motorally class (only one I know of in the US)... probably one of the best ways to get accustom to driving a bike on slippery surfaces.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
ill stick to four wheels off road...but i wish they would make a street legal quadOriginally Posted by exodus
