I was just on the phone with my friend who is leaving fot boot camp on tuesday(he found out last week) and he started talking about getiing a new car when he graduates AIT and gets his bonus. I asked what he was doing with his old car and he said he was going to keep it all his bosses house (hes recently divorsed and his parents family lives in Oregon). He continued to say that he'd rather sign over the title and I could give him a little bit of money when he gets out of boot.
so, used honda accord to play with = dirt cheap
nice, that is allways the best way to do it. and that has been the way i have done things for many years. my last project was my 86 mazda b2000 bagged all the way around. i drove it for 3 months as a daily, then i had to go out and buy another car, cause my truck had to much down time. good to hear you plan on toying with it. good luck man
not sure, my buddy was in a rush so all I know is that its a 90-93 model. It's a beater so I won't be spending much on it, just point a to b and maybe a few upgrades to increase driveability(sp?) like glow guages (the lights are dead), new headlight assemblies, etc...
my lady is going to be driving the Aveo and I'll work on it on the weekends once it warms up and I save up for a few parts.
