Just a bit of a rant.
I absolutely hate the loan process here. NOTHING is done by computer. This is one of the things that still remind people that this IS a 3rd world country.
My loan is approved. BUT, once again...paperwork. I am the youngest "foreigner" to ever be granted "pensionado" status. Meaning that I no longer work & have a regular check coming from the US govt.
Here they read that I was injured in the military & automatically assume. "Oh, you have a gunsot wound"..WTF. I tell them that I broke my back & have a few other injuries. Next thing out of their mouths. "Oh, so you jumped out of planes" WTF!!! PEOPLE so now I need to go have my blood drawn & a general exam to make sure I am healthy enough to get "their" insurance to cover the loan... NOW it doesnt matter that I have OVER $600K worth of coverage..I need THEIR insurance.
So I get the paperwork yesterday to go to the doctor today. All of teh paperwork is BLANK except for my name. There is a list of different tests on the paperwork & teh ones I am supposed to get should have been marked. I asked the lady who gave us teh paperwork. Isnt there supposed to be check marks next to what I need done? Her response..."they know what needs to be done & will fill out everything". OK..whatever.
This morning comes & I have to fast which means NO COFFEE until I get my blood drawn. SO I wake up at 6AM to be there at 7. I get there & Low & behold they say "nothing is marked so they do not know what tests to do".. SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!
So after being on the phone for over an hour we finally get the number to the person who ordered the paperwork for me.. Guess what... THEY ARE NOT AT WORK TODAY!!!!
So now I have to wait until Monday to get the paperwork straight & HOPEFULLY Tuesday I can get the tests done.
BUT on a brighter note. The sales lady DOES understand what happened & is also aggervated. So what she is going to do is order the plates & everything on Monday, so when all the tests come back & all the paperwork is done we can just drive off. So hopefully I can have the car this weekend.
Man what a pain in the ass.
