Re: looking for old thread
Mike what are you driving these days?
Re: looking for old thread
Jeep Grand Cherokee-best car I have ever owned next to my Mustang GT I used to have. It's only the 4.0 but it's still nice. It's way easier on my back as well as far as getting in and out of it and overall ride quality. So far we only changed 2 things, swapped out the air filter for a K&N filter/modified the stock airbox resonator to make it a full ram air and we swapped the stock muffler for a Thrush with a not so fancy chrome tip. Going to purchase a 63mm ported intake mani and spacer soon. Hoping to get just a little more power out of her and better mileage. The thing is a beast on gas :(
Re: looking for old thread
^wife had 1 b4 the aveo. gas killed on that v8 4x4.
Re: looking for old thread
I got the selec-trac on mine, thank god. I can't imagine what the quadra-trac did for your mileage :-/ I do wish I had the v-8 sometimes, other times not so much.
Re: looking for old thread
have you looked into chipping it, some chips can pick up a few mpg..
do people that actually drive jeeps have piercings? i always pictured the cowboy types.. :P
Re: looking for old thread
I am by no means the "cowboy type." I think they do, but your right, ive never seen a fellow with pierces drivin a jeep either. But then again, never really looked.
Re: looking for old thread
the one kid in my class has all kinds of piercings, ears stretched, tattoos, and he drives a cherokee. My first car was a '95 cherokee, and despite my admitted hickishness, I'm not the cowboy type either. I do miss getting to run sht over now that I think about it...
Re: looking for old thread
My wife still has here 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 6cyl 4.0. Definitley sucks down the fuel too. Actually doesnt get that much better mileage than my Suburban. Has 130K on the clock but is solid and runs great. Still drives like new. She wised up and bought an 07 Aveo 5 back in November of last year.
Re: looking for old thread
you got more miles than me and mines a 99. I'm just under 110k.
