SS has nothing to do with superchargers.
The SS stands for super sport and the majority of SS cars in Chevys line up are actually turbocharged.

Actually most SS cars in the Chevy lineup are N/A...camaro SS is N/A, monte carlo SS is N/A, Silverado SS is N/A, impala SS is also N/A...the only other SS I know is the cobalt which is supercharged

Thats right! There is only 1 car that I know of in Chevy's past that was turbocharged and that was a cavy from the late 80s, and it wasnt an SS but rather a Z model

Apparently theres a trail blazer SS which is also N/A but it looks really good for a SUV

I thought about buying the SS badges from Chevy and putting them on my Aveo but then i was in my wreck and when asked to put the new Aveo badge on i just sold it on ebay to some one on the board and made mine More Clean Looking.
