No more Aveo (for me anyway)

About 4 days ago I purchased a 96 Saturn SL2 to replace the Aveo because my mom can no longer driver her Durango due to medical issues and she wanted to swap vehicles. I am not a fan of larger vehicles so I went, drained my savings and bought an SL2. I will still occasionally come here for repair advice as long as I still own the Aveo.

Did you sell the Durango to finance the SL2?

No. Still here. Mainly use it as a grocery getter and road trip vehicle cause it has a 3rd row and one 18 mpg gas bill is better than two 25-30ish mpg bills. The Durango has basically replaced our old Ford ranger I ended up scrapping due to rust. Wish it was a Dakota however cause I rather have a bed than a hatch

I miss my old 1996 SL2. Be careful, those auto transmissions like to saw them-self in half. Happened to me. Thought the Troque converter seal went out, when I pulled the transmission to replace it saw it had cut a 4 inch long hole in the case.
