      Pulled the trigger

I am trading in the aveo Monday for a 2011 challenger. It is quite a bit more money then what I wanted to spend, but it won't be an issue. I don't think I am sleeping tonight

Well congrats! I would be more in the market for a Mustang or a Camaro...but a Challenger will beat an Aveo any day haha! Enjoy your (soon to be) new set of wheels!

The first car I looked at was the camaro, but it surprised me in the wrong ways. I always thought as the challenger as the runt of the bunch but the challenger feels like a better car all around compared to the camaro. I did not touch the mustang or ford as getting credit through them is like turbocharging an aveo. I still could not believe how the camaro was so underwhelming when I drove it though, I am disappointed with it, I can not wait to pick it up though. I didnt want to buy another car now, but I would have to dump over $1000 in the car to keep it running, along with other problems that were arising, they gave me 4700 for it so I feel pretty good about it.

haha I was lucky to even get the se, it still has some power though, I love the autostick as well, I can just shift into 5th and cruise, my mpg's will be very nice, I also save $140 on my insurance every 6 months. Has a lifetime warranty as well so it is not too bad

      Lifetime warranty huh?

did they teach you to read the fine print in college?

sounds like they clubbed you like a seal.

After all the crap you talk on this forum, so much for your Aveo (chevrolet) loyalty

That's really interesting to hear your negative comments about the Camaro. I haven't done enough research so I can't speak with any definitely reviews or facts, but I thought it was pretty highly rated. Regardless, if you are happy with your trade, then we are happy for you (well maybe excluding AveoJunk)!! Swing by the forum every once and a while though... I have much to learn and I feel like you have a pretty good handle on anything Aveo

I know they discontinued it, but if hunter bought a '10 he still might have gotten a lifetime warranty. Otherwise, some dealers do offer warranties (not extended, but a specific warranty through the dealership) for the life of your vehicle.

Anyways, deal is not done yet, but with the camaro, I am still surprised with it. Maybe it just feels weird to me? Reminds me of a tank, you have a narrow slit as a windshield, its just awkward, but a nice car in other ways still.
