My cousin painted. I don't think he did much beyond spraying it with primer and the black.

      Re: satin black cars

First off I only quickly scanned through the post so sorry if I'm repeating anything.

The first picture is satin black, which is in-between flat black and factory (gloss) black. I saw talk about making it hard to match other colors with satin black, but that's easy because you can make any color with a satin look. What they usually do is use regular black paint, then a regular clear coat (same glossy one) only they add something to it to dull the gloss down. They can do this over any color, including carbon fiber body.

I don't recommend all black wheels with a (esp flat black) black car if you have dark windows, blacked out pieces, or smoked pieces. I had that setup for awhile and I must say it doesn't look good. The car looks tiny, especially the wheels.

With the polished lip I think it looks great though. It keeps that stealth black look, adds a little touch with the lip. The lip also keeps the car and wheels from looking tiny:

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures anymore (comp stolen) of when I had this setup but with just about everything blacked out, but trust me It looks horrible:

Here's a close up of the satin paint:

I only have one other shot of the satin paint job that hasn't been posted. I was planning on taking more pictures once I got my Kinky Motorsports decals, carbon fiber front splitter, and carbon fiber rear wing back on with a new KDM lip kit. I probably won't be going with the KDM lip kit soon anymore (bought a lanos instead) and because of that I can’t put my splitter on and I’m afraid the wing will hurt cornering without the front splitter. Both my cameras were stolen so I don't want to go through the hassle of borrowing one until I have new bits. Anyway the other picture:

I recommend trying to pull together the money for a BBK (or drilled/dimpled rotors) with bronze wheels because they really, really make the rotors stand out. Also when buying bronze wheels I’d see them in person first. Bronze wheels are hard to capture on camera and most of them out there are actually very gold. The bronze wheels I have usually look dull silver in pictures. I personally don’t think there is a better bronze out there than the 5zigens fn01r-c (what I have), they aren’t ridiculously expensive (A step up from Rotas), and they are very light/strong wheels.

      Thanks for the compliments guys!
