Screwed out of my aveo

Aww ****, so I had an agreement with my father, if i rebuilt his old car , a 2004 chevy aveo that was wrecked he would sign it over to my mother so when i turn 16 id have a car, The car is finished, and surprise surprise the title is "missing" so i take the time to fill out a fourm for a new replacement title and i was gonna pay the $51 for penndot to wipe their ass and my dad wont sign the fourm. So ive started looking at other options, I dont have the money for a nice aveo because they are going for about 4 grand in my area.

man that really sucks. If did not need a notory I would just get it "signed" and get a new dad.

I went looking, i put about 1250 into the aveo and it needs paint. Thats about half of what i started with, im probably gonna end up buying a 99 chevy monte carlo or a 2004 saturn ion2 sedan

Honestly even with the new title, the car is still his. I wouldn't get the monte carlo. The saturn isn't bad.

What did you put into the car that is worth the 1250? I would buy another aveo with a blown engine and swap that into it.
I find blown up Aveos all the time for 400-500 bucks and then take all the parts from daddy's car. You'll have a title for the new one.

Where in PA are you located?

i put new window, front clip with lights and a drivers door. all used parts, I live in the southern part of susquehanna county, about 30 miles away from scranton.

Thats a great deal, They are hatchbacks, but ill consider it, id rather just get a new car for double that and be done, besides my project of a jeep grand cherokee rock crawler was put aside for the aveo. The silver one i was fixing up had 150k on it and it had a new engine put in at 61k

I really like the two Aveos. Too bad I live in south Texas. I bought my 2005 hatchback for $1000 back in April. Such an awesome car.

So today, my dad filled out and had the fourm for the lost title notarized, Ill mail it tomorrow, Im 99 percent confident that he will sign the car over once the title comes, now i just have to wait
