He's in Corpus Christi which is in south Texas on the gulf coast. Last time I remember hearing about them getting snow was like 3 or 4 years ago and getting like 2 or 3 inches. Pretty decent town CC is. I've been going there usually once a year every year for the past 20-25 years
yeah we got some in 2004 or 05 i think. it was awesome! the first time i had ever seen it. and it had snowed only once before about 100 years earlier.

corpus is kinda deep south... u can wear shorts and sandals all year long

Not sure what tires they are putting on the aveos out of the factory now-a-days, but if they're anything like the kumhos they used on the '04s I'd be careful.

Get a good set of snow/all-seasons and drive smart
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

i wish san jose got snow- but for some reason rain is bad enough with my tires. i slide around on the freeway a good amount. i know the wind plays a big part in that, but i feel i need more rubber on the road.

I'll take a look what was stock on my '06 hatch and get back to you tomorrow. I'm going to run them until they need replacing and get some more agrresive snow tires.

Yup, the Hankook optimos came stock on it.

I put the Kumho ECSTA ASX on for summer and loved them.
