I like the old bugs i liked the Baja's Better we have a few out in my area that run the Baja Race every year. Sorry no photo's
i dont currently own an air cooled.
i have owned 6 buses, 4 bugs, a squareback, and ghia, all daily drivers.
when i meet my wife they became weekend only cars (her parents didnt like that i could breakdown),
then when we had kids they became "unsafe" with no airbags, no child safety :cry:
so i told her i would concede for now. and wait until they are older to buy a 23 window.
but i have a 75 rabbit i am trying to build. but there have been purchasing problems, i keep paying for stuff and it never comes.
here is the last one i built for a friend:
i did all the body and paint work included replacing the front end (hit a suburban head on), and rear end (bumper mounts rotted out) also did floor pans and heater channels/rockers. he only had me do all that because it was bought new by his family, and he is emotionally attached.

i still miss my 1971 yellow sunbug!!! what a great car that was!! my mom bought it brand new up in new hampshire, and i drove it all thru high school until 1985 when my mom bought me the buick grand national as i was heading off to college. all things being said? i should have kept the bug!!
