The fact remains that their headquarters is in Japan. That's where the money goes. And America is just where they nail the cars together. Most of the parts still come from Japan.

someone is getting mad because imports are the best

I honestly think some of the "american" cars have stepped up and are better than asian cars..

Asian cars seemed to have raised prices every year like every other manufacturer, but American cars has really stepped up quality in the last few years (by getting rid of the W body for instance).. So getting the same old jap car for the price of a cheap European car doesnt appeal to me..

I think that us cars have a long way to go before calling out audi, mercedes and bmw though.. Although i have never been a fan of mercedes basic cars.. but the fit and feel of the newer fords and gms is in line with volkswagen (hecho en mehico) and mini cooper, etc.
