but really, why not move to Japan to have a real JDM car? EVERY scion car is LHD so it is not possible to be JDM! My head is about to blow up because I do not understand the point of being JDM...

maybe stupid crap like this leads to z34's hate!
      Well it certainly didn't help.

As far as the electrical. In my experience with honda, if that turning signal switch went out, the problem has a solid chance of traveling to something else attached to it, say next your brake lights will completely quit working, then it would spread from there. Honda electronics are to sensitive.

And I completely understand researching a company and vehicle before you buy, But I also know that sometimes people just have better luck with different types of vehicles. For example if I get behind the wheel of a Ford truck or SUV once, something breaks. It always happens. My honda ran but that was about all I could say for it, I have had the best luck with GM and chevrolet. I also come from a chevy family. I know people who swear by one company, while another person has nothing good to say about them, and won't even ride in one. There are so many variables that affect how good a vehicle is to a specific person that it would be impossible to address them all. Even the way you brake and accelerate may have different effects on different vehicles.

I would have quoted you, but that was to much lol.
This is why I stick to rally as it also show just how cars with stand up to repeated abuse.

LOL. Honda electrics must be ****ty then. With my car it just affects the one thing.

My family swears by GM and has had bad luck with Ford's. My mom once had a '94 Ford Escort wagon, she accidentally spilled coffee on the gear shifter in the winter, the coffee froze the gearshift in place and immobilized the car. Coffee should NOT be able to take down an entire car like that. When she called up Ford to make a formal complaint, Ford told her not to drink coffee in the car. WTF!? She spilled coffee countless times on the Monte's gearshift and it never did that.

With the research, If I don't like a company's business practices (coughtoyota+racismcough) or a certain technology the flaunt that in design is horrible (coughvteccough), then I won't buy from them. From what I've been able to dig though, Suzuki has a clean slate. As such they're one of the few companies that DOESN'T annoy me or piss me off. I even happen to like Suzuki cars and their features.

i love the suzuki cultus awd..

I want the suzuka edition (if available in awd? sometimes you cant can't find out enough about a car when its not here.)

i like the r32 and r34.. there are a few running around here. The price of them is 50% hype, 40% import and 10% car. A friend who lives in japan races skylines, he has some very cool cars, and if he ever comes home he will be legally allowed to import them all and the they are acceptable free market cars 6 months later..

      or you pay the importers.

Suzuki FTW! Z34 and I agree on everything.

You could once buy several GM badged Suzukis. Life doesn't get much better than that!

The Americanized suzukis are pretty crappy but the cultus, gti, samurai, even the newer ones are good for the money.

They just are built for longevity just like the aveo supposedly.

The only Americanized Suzuki I can think of is the XL7, and possibly the grand vitara.
Cultus = Geo Metro/Pontiac Firefly/Chevrolet Metro/Chevrolet Sprint/Suzuki Esteem (replaced by the Aerio which was replaced by the current SX4)
