they are not hondas, so they suck

So it's agreed rally is the best test on a vehicle as a whole.
I would like to have suzuki's equivalent to the geo tracker, but I can't find a good used one in my area. Most of them are rust buckets that the owners like to much I guess.
As far as the ford coffee thing roflmao.
I still want to own a subaru impreza awd, even if I end up hating the car, I want to see what I can do with one. Not interested in turbo so no WRX for me. I'm falling into the straight motor group of people, It seems to be the most reliable and easier to work with. I admit I don't have experience with a turbo vehicle but from what I continue to read, I'm not interested.
hunter, how about proving why honda is so great with the facts as Z34 has done. Let's hear your experience with some other makes and models of vehicles, I want to know why you like honda so much.

I will think of a better signature later.
lol you mad? I am trolling haha...I dont like honda at all, i defended this fourm from such things
The Suzuki SX4 has a rally pedigree too... it's 2.0L, Naturally Aspirated, AWD, and with an available turbo kit from the dealer. I love the SX4. It's a TRUE alternative competitor to the Subaru Impreza or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
Hunter:
Dealer available turbo kits:
- 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 - LQ1 3.4L DOHC 24 valve semi-hemi V6, 210 HP, 215 ft-lbs of torque, 4T60e 4 speed automatic with O/D.... 123,000+ miles. Slowly resto-modding it.
- looking for a first gen Aveo for a daily driver :D
The SX4 WRC, while short lived, was a great vehicle. It was amazing what PG Anderson was able to do with a brand new car in a brand new program, just coming out of jWRC.
It's unfortunate that they cancelled the WRC program, but they just entered at the wrong time and the economy got the better of them.
The US road going version is a completely different animal than the WRC variant (see the 2.0L Turbo). The torque split is different on the US model, maxing out at something like 75/25 torque split F/R, I believe it's also 100/0 torque split "until you need it."
If anyone was looking into this, I would definitely recommend one of the older 2.5l motors, 150someish HP and 150lb-ft from something ridiculous like 1,250 RPM. This is the same motor from the old aerio, which would dominate rallycross fields, thanks to it's enormous low end torque. I haven't seen an SX4 rallycross, but I hear it's much of the same...
Edit for Honda:
Older model Hondas are starting to prove their worth in US rally, at least. I believe the Irish are also fond of them. They take a lot of reinforcement to make the chassis hold up (stitch/seam welding, but that's par for the course on any car). They're cheap, and can be very quick if you know what you're doing.

12 pages of courtship. I think Z34 and thehunterooo should just have sex and get it over with. It's like 2 kids in middle school who like each other, but are trying to act cool to their classmates. I'll put up 5 bucks toward the room, anyone else kicking in?
Jealous of our skills which invoke anger out of others? This thread is a huge joke, and and Z34 has a girlfriend so idk if she would approve of such acts. You can join in if you envy Z34 and myself to such an extreme level. How is that POS aveo treating by the way?
