I see chevette all over the place for 200-5000 bucks. but the condition is what steers me away.
Hey cool a GLH (Black Omni a few pics above)...was it a GLHS?
"goes like hell" and "goes like hell some more"
I also have a white 1978 Sunbird Formula as a sister to the Monza spyder.
I'll have to get pics of it, but I'm re-painting some parts on it now.
I also have '78 plain jane sunbird (brown, trunk model). -not sure why I still have it.
Since 1990 I've been buying them up, I owned 21 of these cars total.
Like the Jeep and bike alot. Great pic of the Jeep. I've been wanting to build a really good offroader. My jeep has an original steel body so it only sees mild offroad use. Its needing to get out and run now though. Its been a while. Thats the bad thing about having so many cars. You can't drive them all, all the time. But I have the warehouse space to keep them nice so its not to bad. I'd like to build a 32 ford sometime too. But thats on hold for a while.
2009 Chevy Aveo5 LS
2007 Chevy Corvette Z06
2002 GMC Yukon XL (my tow vehicle)
1978 Jeep Renagade CJ5 Levi Edition
1965 Pontiac GTO (428, Tripower, 4spd)
Yea your gonna have to restore it... and thats very expensiveOriginally Posted by petrified.rabbit
not when you do it yourself. most of the restoration would be done with the drivetrain swap. because i would need to swap over the floor pans for the IRS rear axle, and such anyhow. so not even the mechanical condition is that important, its the shotty work of a lower class car that hasn't been made in 22 years.
lol true.. itll be really nice though after you restore it
