This holds true even for my Monte Carlo (Ever notice the HUGE C-pillars? Picture below). I've had people ask why I don't just stick my head out the driver's side window. My reply is "because my driver's side window doesn't work". Ya do learn to compensate for it. I've had alot of people praise my driving in avoiding accident in that car.

blind spots don't irk me. You learn to compensate. I think if every car has side mirrors like the new Ford Fiesta, people wouldn't be bitching about blind sports.

I'm going to cut out the A-Pillars in my aveos. I don't know how many times I've inched at a stop sign only to discover there was a car, right in LOS of the A-Pillar. Also a pain in the ass to drive it sideways

I loved the mirrors on my grandpas Nissan Titan, it had the strip on the bottom of the mirror that was curved like that to show the blind spots. My '00 Camaro isn't really bad with blind spots though, you can see out of it pretty decently. The only spot I have problems with is the passanger side sale panel getting off the highway in my town, it's in exactly the right spot for me not to be able to see if anyones coming
