U guys need to stop arguing about this W or WTF body is, no one cares...
I know GM own Daewoo and I read on line that the Cruze and Spark are also made by Daewoo. Hyunday just put out a luxury sedan with a inhouse build V8 that produces 385hp for 60k! Rewiers are saying its better than the competition, not bad for a korean company.

60k could get you a much better real company car, i mean hyundai is ok i supposed if your only going to have it a few years at most, but if you buy a car to last the length of the payments, you should get more than a hyundai, regardless of the number of features.. it how the features are made. I wouldn't want my 60k dollar luxury car to have the same power windows as an accent, or the power locks, key fob, etc. but for the first 50-80k miles i'm sure its a fantastic car, maybe i'll consider buying on when its years old and 12 grand.

      and
aveo hard plastic> lumina dildo yellow plastic

the big difference i think you will find is the aveo wasnt trying to be anything but "chevy's" cheap car.. i doubt trying to insult how its built is going to make anyone here think "oh my its not american made?" or "you mean is not built like a bmw?"
Ironically, the Lumina plastics were higher quality, and on the second generation (1995-2001 Lumina and 1995-1999 Monte Carlo), very soft to the touch. And I've NEVER heard of a W-body's plastics turning yellow. I Give the Aveo credit for being a cheap car, but for every insult thrown at the W-body, I can throw one right back about the Aveo. The point is, both cars are good for what they are. The only thing I've ever said about the W-body being better has to do with it's depreciation as most W-bodies are old and can be gotten for the same price as a 3 year old Aveo, and comparatively is better value for your money. For 7 grand you can get a fully loaded Aveo from 2006 or 2007 if you know where to look. Meanwhile the same money will get you a 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (for example) which has a supercharged V6, and MUCH more room than the Aveo, and more features. This is expected due to depreciation. Comparing them year for year, the W-body is about twice the price of an Aveo. I never said the W-body was the best ever. Just that it's good value for money. However, I already have a W-body. For me and Ari, the W-bodies are our toys while the Aveo is seen as a cheap Daily Driver while still supporting the big 3.

      haha your getting all defensive..

buy seriously a 2006-2007 aveo could be had for under 5000 (if you know where to look), that is still fully loaded with average miles too.. for 7-8k people were getting close to new with the end of year clearance.

and i see 2003 and down gtp etc going for less the 3k all the time... with what i would conside average mileage /condition with age.

your in the new england pan handle, that drives prices up for cars maintaining decent condition from what ives seen..

if you would look a little further south the prices would come down (especially once past ny state) and probably more than make up for the cost of transportation..

Yes I live in Connecticut. Land of overpriced everything. However, I've dealt with out of state cars at the DMV before. Don't wanna go through that again. My Monte Carlo has been a Connecticut car all it's life (I have the records to prove this) yet for some reason, it has a New York title. don't ask me why, but it gave me hell trying to get it reregistered at the DMV. The car however was a special order so that may explain the title

yeah some states make it hard to buy out of state cars, its pretty easy here in pa, just need the signed title, and proof of vin match (rubbing, picture or bring the car)

took us 3 weeks of paperwork and arguing to get it registered. My registration ended in August. Luckily this time, they didn't give us any trouble reregistering it. I've applied to have the title transfered to a Connecticut title 3 times but nothing. I think they just toss it in a fireplace or something. -_-

DMV horror stories, now thats a topic! However it will probably depress every one so... I had my share in CA, before moving to AR, I used to import motorcycles from overseas and what a nightmare to get them registered, every freaking time I got a new DMV clerk they would not know what to do, it was irritating , than dealing with the HW Patrol, I had to threaten to call their headquarters to get them to aprove the inspection, I mean the law is very clear on what u can and cannot do, but than u get idiots that do this everyday but are not familiar with procedure, it amazed me every time! finaly I gave up importing, the headaches made it not worth while running the business. So there, u wont get another penny out of my business CA, Hahahaha... Jerks!
